Greek Independence Day Commemoration April 30, 2023 Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England and Raising of the Greek Flag at Boston City Hall Plaza
With His Eminence, Metropolitan Methodios presiding, Rev. Fr. Tom Chininis, Dean of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England, Commemorated and Celebrated Greek Independence Day at the Cathedral in Boston. The Evzones were th Color Guard for the Doxology at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy. This is an annual event with the Consul General of Greece in Boston Symeon Tegos to participate and to speak before the over 200 parishioners and guests. The Federation of Greek American Associations of New England along with the Parish Council and Cathedral Philoptochos sponsored the Coffee Hour. Photos by Alex Mavradis
