Participated in the Pre-Sanctified Liturgy at the Cathedral last night with His Eminence, Metropolitan Methodios Presided in the Service. Following the Service, a Pre-Sanctified Lenten, meal was prepared by the Ladies Philopotochos Society with delicious foods that did not include any meat products. Also Dora Orphanos brought in her delicious foods. Bumyias was served as well. In English it is okra! Panos Coufos, Youth Director for the Metropolis of Boston and spokesman for the Metropolis of Boston, Jack Bushell, our youth, young adult director of the Cathedral and Pastoral Assistant made sure the young adults, and college students participated in the Service and meal. during the meal, Jack had a small discussion symposium on the meaning of the Lenten Service and meaning of Lent as we journey towards Pascha.
